On Friday 18th November members of the Matter’s senior team alongside 240 riders, participated in the Tour de PIF Melbourne bike ride to raise funds for homeless youth.
Cycling under the sunshine was a nice contrast from our usual day-to-day, particularly when kitted out in our new Matter jerseys. Thank you to Foundation Board of Advisors member Monica Fontaine from Built. who spoke about the upcoming Shepparton project, The Nest. This partnership with Women’s Property Initiatives and The Bridge Youth Service will build three homes where young mothers (up to 25 years) and their children can live independently and safely. Families will have access to The Nest for up to five years with the support of The Bridge Youth Services and their community.
Together we raised over $165,000 through fundraising, raffles, auctions, and pledges. Smashing our target of $120,000.
